Access to 100% of the gyms and swimming pools at Sesc/RS is managed with Imply® technology
Access to all gyms and swimming pools at Social Service of Commerce of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, in South Brazil (Sesc/RS) has undergone a technological upgrade with the installation of Access Controllers developed by Imply®. These devices have been implemented in 100% of the institution’s 47 units that offer these services, ensuring even greater security and modernity for members and managers in 43 cities.
The devices feature a digital biometric reader and a screen for registration using the document number, autonomously. From the first entry, each member and dependent can access Sesc facilities via fingerprint. Entry is quick and efficient, optimizing time, reducing queues, and providing a good experience for members.
“Our goal was to autonomously and efficiently control access to Sesc/RS units, restricting it to authorized persons only, enhancing security and managing traffic flow in our gyms, pools, and other facilities. What impressed us most about Imply® was the speed of service and the technical capability to meet the specific needs of our clients. At Sesc/RS, for example, we adjusted the biometric reader’s sensitivity to better serve the active senior public,” explains Douglas Marcelo Dornelles da Silva, Systems and Projects Coordinator at Sesc/RS.

With the implementation of the access controllers, we achieved greater speed and autonomy. The access system was integrated into our e-commerce system, allowing the identification of the client’s first access and enabling them to perform their own biometric registration at the turnstile. The solution brought faster identification and validation of client access, resulting in agility and security,” notes Silva.
