Cerro Porteño inaugurates the most modern stadium in Paraguay with Imply® Solutions
Inaugurated last Saturday, August 19, the newest stadium of the Club Cerro Porteño, the fantastic General Pablo Rojas Stadium, located in Asunción in Paraguay. La Nueva Olla, as it is called, is the largest stadium in Paraguay with capacity of up to 45,000 supporters, and was built by its own fans. Imply® is proud to be part of the largest and most modern stadium in the country, offering state-of-the-art technology and safety for its fans, with the complete solution in Imply® Access Management System (SIGA) and Full Color Panels.
SIGA serves people as well as vehicles access, which gives the club multiple intelligent functions to control mass accesses throughout the stadium. The solution controls high access flows per minute, which will optimize visitor access, and make this process more secure through 5 counter turnstiles and 8 tourniquets turnstiles with a variety of reader technologies including: RFID, 1D/2D bar code,and allowing future expansion for biometric reading. The stadium also has 24 Handhelds, for mobile validation of fans’ accesses. For the access control of the Parking lots, the Imply® SIGA has 6 sets of totems for reading the tickets or credentials, and gates with articulated arms to control the flow of vehicles.
Still, the modern Stadium offers Full Color technology, which allows to reproduce high quality images, boosting the interaction and offering an incredible experience inside the Stadium. The Full Color Panel has approximately 135 m² in addition to the FullColor Panels for the field perimeter, with 110 meters in diameter and 1 meter in height.
