Prodata expands Self Service in São Paulo Metro with Imply® Technology
Prodata, a company in the ticketing systems segment, has been implementing the Imply® innovative Self-Service solutions with the aim of optimizing the services provided to users of the São Paulo Metro, offering greater convenience, agility and reduced queues.
According to Mr. Leonardo Ceragioli, Commercial Director of Prodata: “Imply® from the beginning of our partnership, demonstrated commitment, technical capacity and flexibility to serve our public transportation customer. Another important factor that contributed to the success of this endeavor was the high availability rate of the equipment, which guarantees the offer of these services to the users of the Sao Paulo Metro. Its agility in adapting to situations of high demand stands out. The solution includes peak hour operations with fast, safe and reliable operation.”
The project is being expanded with hundreds of Imply® ATMs. The Multikiosks® and TCI Slim Self-Service Terminals are integrated with Prodata’s software to efficiently service the more than 8 million passengers per day of the São Paulo Metro – which is Brazil’s largest metro-rail network.
The Imply® Multikiosk® and TCI Slim Terminals are positioned in high-traffic locations, allowing users to quickly and intuitively purchase and recharge the Metro Unico Ticket even after business hours. TCI Slim terminals accept credit and debit card payments, and Multikiosks®, in addition to card payments, also accept cash. The results of this applied innovation are a greater efficiency of the services, the comfort and the considerable reduction of queues for the population.
