Imply technology in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games

With less than 430 days to the beginning of the Summer Olympic Games to be held in Brazil in 2016, tickets to football matches are already being marketed. The fans can now choose to purchase tickets to some matches that will take place in five Brazilian cities, which are: Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and Manaus.

The Imply® technology is already present in the greatest sporting event on the planet through Imply® Acess Control and Ticketing Management System in Arena Maracanã, Arena Amazonia and Arena Fonte Nova, adding 20 games so far: four matches at the Maracana, 6 in Amazon and 10 at the Fonte Nova.

Of the four matches that will take place at the Maracana in Rio de Janeiro, will be two semifinals – male and female – and the other two finals, on the 19th and the 20th August. As for the 10 matches at the Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador, will be held on 4, 7, 9, 10, 12 and 13 August, with first round matches – male and female – and the quarterfinals. And the games in Arena Amazonia in Manaus, will take place on days 4, 7 and 9 August starting the matches, both male and female, of the first stage of the Olympic tournament.

The event will also feature the participation of nearly 11 thousand athletes from 205 countries. The Rio 2016 committee will be made up of 45,000 volunteers, 85,000 contractors and 8000 employees.
