America announces facial recognition at Arena Independencia

America Soccer Club takes important steps towards the forefront of innovation, and adapts to the requirements of the new General Sports Law in Brazil, which determines the implementation of biometric monitoring in stadiums with capacity for more than 20 thousand people by June 2025. Advanced technologies of facial recognition access control and high-performance dynamic QR code will be inaugurated at Arena Independencia, in the game against Novorizontino, this Saturday (27). Soon, the entire access system to Arena Independencia will undergo a technological upgrade, and facial recognition modules will be gradually implemented in all sectors of the stadium over the next few months, ensuring greater agility in access.

“The implementation of facial recognition and dynamic QR Code at Arena Independencia offers America a more efficient and secure way to manage fan access and identification. This helps improve the fan experience, ensuring a faster and more streamlined entry process, as well as increasing security at the stadium. The implementation of these innovations is aligned with America’s vision for the future, which seeks to use technology to improve all aspects of the fan experience and meet the legal requirements of the General Sports Law. By adopting advanced identification and access solutions, the club demonstrates its commitment to modernization and excellence in providing services to its fans”, highlights Renato Drummond, América’s Financial Administrative Director.
