Atlético Paranaense Club is a pioneer in Brazil with 100% of Accesses validated by biometric control
The Paranaense Athletic Club Stadium is the first stadium in Brazil to adopt the biometric registration of all fans, as well as the control of accesses with biometric validation in all sectors of the Stadium.
The goal is very clear, to ensure security and peace in the events. The registration process at the Stadium has progressed in an agile way with the support of an agreement with the Paraná Court of Justice, Public Security Secretariat, Paraná Identification Institute, State Department of Transit and Information and Communication Technology Company. Thus, the whole system of the club is interconnected to the databases of the State Department of Traffic and the Identification Institute. This Innovative Solution happens through the Imply® Access Control and Management System, which also integrates turnstiles with biometric readers at the stadium gates.
“The Arena has capacity for about 40 thousand people and everyone will have to have a biometric registration. To improve the demand and to have more agility in the entrance, we increased the number of turnstiles by 30% and we redefined the accesses,” added Fernando Volpato, Director of Operations of the Club Atlético Paranaense. At the moment the fan places his/her digital in the biometric reader, the system will inform if the person is the holder of the card or ticket and also if there is some restriction for entrance in the stadium.
