Bombinhas innovates with self service technology

Aiming at the high number of tourists visiting the city of Bombinhas – Santa Catarina / Brazil, in the summer, the municipal government decided to innovate and increase the agility of services. For the payment of the Environmental Conservation Fee, were installed two TCI Slim – Consultation Kiosks. The kiosks are seen as a new facility provided to tourists, because it allows the payment of the fee at strategic points through credit card.

The Environmental Conservation Fee is a mandatory contribution to all visitors to the city, in order to minimize impacts to the environment caused during the summer. The amount collected is applied in environmental infrastructure, environmental education, conservation and preservation of the environment with its natural ecosystems, public cleaning and sanitation actions.
