Celesc Expands Services with New Imply® Self-Service Kiosks

The connection between Imply® and one of the largest companies in the Brazilian electrical sector, Celesc, is set to grow even stronger! A total of 104 new Imply® Self-Service Kiosks will be distributed across the units of Santa Catarina Electric Central (Celesc), expanding the successful project that already serves thousands of residents in Santa Catarina. The partnership began back in 2021 when the first Self-Service Kiosks were installed in 49 municipalities in the State of Santa Catarina.

At that time, 85 units were made available to the population – and they have been operating ever since. With the confirmed expansion, in the second half of 2024 there will be a total of 189 Imply® Self-Service Terminals facilitating the routine and access to services for the state’s residents efficiently.

Celesc serves 285 municipalities, accounting for more than 3 million consumer units. Currently, the Self-Service Kiosks provide second copy issuance, reconnection requests, receipt issuance, and cut-off date inquiries. With the expansion in the second half of the year, a highly anticipated new feature will be implemented: the option to make payments directly at the terminal.
