Two continental finals, two cities and a single operation

The long-awaited Copa Libertadores final is getting closer, and it keeps drawing more fans and more brands linked to the tournament. In Montevideo, Estadio Centenario will host the one-match final between SE Palmeiras of Brazil and Club Estudiantes de La Plata of Argentina. Seven days earlier, Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez in Barranquilla will stage the Sudamericana final between Club Atlético Mineiro and Club Atlético Boca Juniors.

CONMEBOL is repeating the formula it used in previous deciders: Flamengo vs. Athletico-PR (2022) in Guayaquil, Ecuador; Fluminense vs. Boca Juniors (2023) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and Flamengo vs. Palmeiras (2025) in Lima, Peru. Once again, it hired Imply® ElevenTickets® to develop and run the integrated ticket sales channels, connect stadium access control and manage the entire matchday operation. In addition, the same platform handles sales for the Sudamericana final.

CONMEBOL’s invitation, now for the fourth time, to run the continent’s biggest final reflects more than 20 years of Imply® ElevenTickets® expertise in global events.

Imply® ElevenTickets® technology and services at the CONMEBOL finals

The operation covers the entire fan journey, from buying a ticket to walking through the stadium gate. Here are the main pillars of the project.

Ticket sales on the official portals

Fans can buy tickets only at sudamericana.eleventickets.com and libertadores.eleventickets.com.

Sudamericana: Ticket sales for the General Public (Categories 1 and 2) will begin on Friday, October 30, at 12:00 PM.

Libertadores: the exclusive presale for holders of Mastercard cards issued in Uruguay starts on October 29 at 2 p.m. (Uruguay time). It covers Categories 1 and 2 as well as Hospitality packages, with a limit of four tickets and four packages per user. General sales for Categories 1 and 2 begin on November 2 at 2 p.m. Finally, CONMEBOL will announce the dates for Category 3, which is set aside for the finalists’ supporters in both finals.

Official apps with dynamic QR Code

Imply® ElevenTickets® delivers an official app for each competition, built with CONMEBOL branding. Each ticket appears as a dynamic QR Code that refreshes continuously, so screenshots simply won’t work. As a result, fans get stronger protection against fraud, and gates scan tickets faster. Imply® also develops custom apps for events and brands.

Integration with club membership systems

The 2026 operation takes a technology leap by connecting directly to club membership systems. Imply® ElevenTickets® is a benchmark in club and membership management in soccer, and that experience links each club’s member base to the final’s sales and access process.

Fan service at every stage

On-site fan service runs in Barranquilla and Montevideo and includes:

  • Service desks at three hotels in each host city;
  • Support at the Libertadores Fan Zone and at the Fiesta Sudamericana;
  • Assistance at every stadium entry gate.

Matchday access control

Besides sales and fan service, Imply® ElevenTickets® runs the access control system at both stadiums. The direct link between ticket, app and gate organizes the flow of thousands of fans and gives organizers real-time data.

Federations, confederations and tournament organizers looking for an integrated operation can explore the Imply® ElevenTickets® white label ticketing platform.

Why does CONMEBOL put tickets, fan service and access under one operator?

Because integrating every stage removes communication gaps between systems and gives the organizer a single view of the operation. At high-attendance events, the same platform that sells the ticket also validates entry and guides fan service. That simplifies management and cuts friction for fans.

Imply® built ElevenTickets® as a complete experience management platform, backed by 100% in-house R&D. The technology holds ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and PCI DSS certifications and complies with LGPD, Brazil’s data protection law. This strengthens fan data security in international operations. Overall, CONMEBOL’s confirmation for 2026 reflects this track record in major finals.
