Imply supports Generation Click event for 4000 youth in the region
Conceived and promoted by the NGO Focus Entrepreneur, with the support of Imply®, the Click Generation Event was held during the 10th edition of the Entrepreneur Week, on 12 and 13 May, in Santa Cruz do Sul. The event which reached an audience of 4000 young people had various attractions such as lectures, workshops and presentation of success stories and entrepreneurship.
Imply® and UNISC – Santa Cruz do Sul University, who shared a stand at the event, showed visitors the educational robotics project Robokit through brief workshops with teaching robotics demonstrations developed by the Computing course from the University.
During the event Imply® made a donation of a Robokit for the Municipal Elementary School Normelio Boetcher, from Santa Cruz do Sul, in order to promote educational robotics in schools in the region. The School will develop robotics workshops, and to foster learning, will receive the pedagogical and didactic support through a partnership of a Federal Government project and the Computing degree course of UNISC.
In addition, Imply® stresses its presence in the Entrepreneur week through the sponsorship of the Startup Weekend “Powered by Google for Entrepreneurs” event which is the largest Digital Entrepreneurship event in the world. The event, which takes place in more than 20 countries and brings together thousands of people with bright and innovative ideas, is known to have been part of the creation of several great ideas now numbering more than 600 companies in the market, such as Facebook, and one of the greatest apps for mobile services in the world: Easy Taxi. The Startup Weekend, which featured 3-day event started last Friday, May 15, and closed on Sunday, May 17.
