Juventude Announces Facial Recognition at Alfredo Jaconi
Juventude’s fans have another reason to be proud. The club is taking significant steps toward modernizing Alfredo Jaconi Stadium. With a capacity of over 19,000 people, the sports complex will soon feature the modern Imply® Facial Recognition System for access to games. The technology will be installed at all entrance gates, both for home and visiting fans.
A partner of the club since 2019, Imply® ElevenTickets is already responsible for managing ticket sales, access control, and optimizing administrative processes. Now, the company is taking another step by implementing Facial Recognition equipment. The technology, which is already in use in various renowned stadiums, will further enhance safety and speed up fan access.
Juventude’s president, Fábio Pizzamiglio, highlights the project’s importance to the club and emphasizes Imply®’s role in this technological revolution: “Juventude has evolved in many aspects, and to continue this growth, we need to rely on partners who are leaders in their field, both nationally and internationally. This is the case with Imply®, a company that, like Juventude, was born in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul and has conquered Brazil and the world. Our partnership has been going on for years and continues to evolve, just like Imply®’s technologies, which are always ahead of the market and serve as examples of quality, security, and modernity. Therefore, I have no doubt that we will have the most consolidated structure possible to offer the best to the fans of Alfredo Jaconi Stadium.”
Technology, Modernity, and Security with Imply® Expertise
The Imply® Facial Recognition System is one of the most secure and efficient in operation worldwide. It consists of several layers and security standards, capable of recognizing a face and granting access in fractions of a second. The facial identification access control integrates the processes of identification, authentication, and authorization. Initially, the system detects the presence of a user. Using artificial intelligence and deep learning, the technology authenticates the identity by comparing the unique features of the face with the data in the database, quickly and accurately. The system stores facial impressions as authentication keys, ensuring reliable verification. Afterward, the system checks if the user is authorized to access the location. If authorized, access is automatically granted by opening doors or turnstiles, depending on the predefined permissions.
Tironi Paz Ortiz, CEO and founder of Imply®, explains the adoption of the system: “Facial recognition has been a game-changer for the innovation of Brazilian clubs. This cutting-edge technology helps fans have a faster and more convenient access experience. It’s possible to enter just with your face, without the need to carry physical media or cards, and validation happens in less than one second.”
