Social Center “N. Senhora da Boa Esperança” receives donation of a Robokit

Disseminate access to technology and show that it is easy and educational to play robotics. This is one of the main goals of Robokit – educational robotics kit – developed by Imply® in partnership with the UNISC University. On February 1, another entity was awarded the product.

The Marist Social Center “N. Senhora da Boa Esperança” serves children and young people (aged 6 to 15) in situations of social vulnerability, in Santa Cruz do Sul, Brazil. About 120 young people benefit from the initiative. The donation was given to the coordinator, Brother Roger Ariel Perius.

With Robokit it is possible, for example, to program LEDs and motors, using them to create mockups, inventions, games and the creation of artistic and creative works. The project aims to stimulate social development, helping to build a future of innovation in the region, by increasing the access of children and young people to the practice of robotics.
