Success Case: Arena da Baixada – CAP

Among the best cases of inspiration and overcoming, a successful example is the Arena da Baixada, the stadium of Atletico Paranaense Club (CAP), located in Curitiba in Parana.

The construction of the new Arena lasted about a year and a half. The Arena da Baixada was inaugurated on June 24, 1999, becoming at the time the most modern stadium in all of Latin America.

With the choice of Curitiba to be one of the venues of the 2014 FIFA World Cup™, the Arena was renovated and expanded between 2012 and 2014. With the expansion of capacity to meet the standards required by FIFA, now has a capacity for 43,000 spectators. The Modern Arena has its location as a strong differential, near the center of Curitiba.

The Arena da Baixada in Curitiba, received a total audience of 156,991 people, who attended four games of the greatest sporting spectacle on the planet.

The Arena has the Imply® Access Management System with 95 turnstiles, Key control for access to administrative rooms in 57 doors, and i-Parking Management System in eight parking gates. This efficient technology makes the access for fans to the stadium easier and faster, making the process much more dynamic and comfortable.
